Corliss Newhouse MD, FACOG, OBGYN
Biography
Dr. Corliss Newhouse joined Capital Women’s Care in 2003 after a year of practice with Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Newhouse is well-rounded in both obstetrics and gynecology, providing women in Rockville and Silver Spring, Maryland with comprehensive and compassionate care.
Dr. Newhouse lends her expertise in the management of normal pregnancies, high-risk pregnancies, treatment of fibroids, abnormal Pap tests, contraception, basic infertility, menopause, and perimenopause.
In addition to her work in general OB/GYN care, Dr. Newhouse has a special interest in adolescent gynecology and female sexual dysfunction.
Dr. Newhouse received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
Dr. Newhouse completed her residency at King/Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
In her free time, Dr. Newhouse enjoys running and listening to jazz (avidly).
